In this article, we will walk through how to request a reset of your password. If you make too many failed attempts to log in and are locked out, requesting a reset of the password will unlock your user account.
Request the Reset
To request the reset, go to the login page and locate the "Forget Password" link right above the login button on the form.
You will then be redirected to the "Reset Password" page. Simply enter the email of your user account, then click the "Request Reset" button. You should see a confirmation dialog shortly afterward.
Receive the Reset Email
If you enter your email associated with your user account correctly, you should receive an email containing the instruction to reset the password shortly. If you do not receive the email even after waiting a significant period of time, please check your SPAM folder. In addition, if you enter a wrong email to request a password reset, for security reasons the system will not inform you of the mistake - make sure to double check the correctness of the email you are requesting the reset for.
Once you receive the email, simply click the link in the email to proceed.
Set a New Password
The link will take you to the page to set your new password. Simply enter the new password you would like as well as the confirmation, then click "Reset Password". You should see a confirmation if your password is valid and passes the strength requirements.
Now, you may log in using your new password!
