When you address patients, you may choose different options based on whether or not you would like to "Snooze" or "Resolve" them.
When you snooze a patient, they will move to the last spot in their color category. A snoozed patient will stay snoozed until their snooze date. However, there are a few scenarios that will "unsnooze" patients:
- if the patient triggers another alert
- patient's status moves from green to yellow
- patient's status moves from yellow to red
Note: Snoozing patients will also snooze all of their open alerts.
Click the clock icon to Snooze a patient.
The purple dot indicates that the patient has been snoozed at least once before.
Click the checkbox icon to Resolve patients
Resolving a patient will turn their status green and resolve all of the open alerts associated to them.
What is the difference between addressing patients and addressing alerts?
When you address a patient, you are addressing their status and all of the alerts associated to them.
What does "Never Addressed" mean?
This badge helps you identify patients who haven't been resolved at the patient-level before. Here are a few things this badge might mean:
- The patient is new
- The patient has been on the system for some time but just recently turned red or yellow
