In addition to resolving a single alert, you may also resolve the patient as a whole. This is especially useful if you want to resolve multiple alerts at once, since resolving a patient will resolve all his/her alerts; it is also necessary when a patient is placed in the Red/Yellow category due to biometric values instead of number of open alerts (e.g., EpxDiabetes, a patient can be placed in Red if the 2 week average blood sugar is over the threshold).
To resolve a patient, you will first need to locate the patient on your dashboard. Once you identify the patient, look for the checkmark icon on the right-hand side of the patient's entry:
Once you click on the icon, you should see the "Address Events" screen show up. In the screen, you should see the "Resolve Patient" box checked, indicating that we are going to resolve the patient as a whole instead of specific alerts.
Similar to resolving a single alert, you can choose to indicate the reason for resolving and provide additional notes regarding the action:
When you finish inputting the information, click on the "Confirm Resolve" button to confirm:
You should see a success dialog shortly. After closing the dialog, you will be taken back to the dashboard, where you should see the patient now marked as resolved:
The patient will now be placed in the Green category (until new data received or alerts triggered make it otherwise).
