After you have taken action for an alert triggered, like contacting the patient on the phone, you can go ahead and mark the alert as addressed on the system.
To do so, go to the "Open Alerts" section on the dashboard and locate the alert you want to address. Find the check mark icon located on the right of the alert entry and click on the icon. You should see the "Address Events" screen show up.
On the right section of the screen, you should see the alert you want to address is checked. If there are other alerts for the patient you want to resolve at the same time, just check the boxes next to the associated entries.
On the left side, you should see options which you can use to indicate the reason of resolving the alert. Select the appropriate reason for resolving, and mark down any additional notes as you desire. Once you finish entering the information, click "Confirm Resolve" to confirm.
You should see the success dialog shortly. Once you are taken back to the dashboard, you should see the alert is now marked as addressed as well.
